MAIN
GOALS: • Contribute to the Reform of the Slovak Educational System (effective
Investment into human resources and education, higher employment and
employability, effective
dealing with demographic challenges); •
Continue in promoting proper implementation of Slovakia’s Competitiveness
Strategy; establish regular dialogue with the Ministry of Education and
Government Office; •
Contribute to improve conditions for researchers in Slovakia, support of
internationally competitive research and its adequate link to the business
sector, public support of business expenditures on R&D (Innovation, research
and development) • Provide a framework for AmCham member companies for sharing ideas
and debate with educational authorities, external experts on Reform of
the Slovak Educational
System; Promote partnerships between schools and businesses • Push for more business training in school curricula and provide entrepreneurial
role models
