Panel Discussions
How has the ongoing financial crisis influenced planned reforms?
- Discussion by a high level government panel. Deputy Finance Ministers from Bulgaria,
Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia have been invited.

What is Brussels planning that will change national tax environments?
- High level EU officials and corporate executives will discuss the current state of the CCCTB, green taxes, and other initiatives being developed in the Commission.

How can tax be used as a policy tool to address regional economic needs?
- Discussion by a panel of public, corporate, and academic experts on how tax policy can address the black market, research & development, and infrastructure investment.

  • Perspective for Central Europe: Mark Allen, IMF Senior Regional Representative for Central Europe
  • Czech Public Finance Reforms: Czech Finance Minister Miroslav Kalousek (invited).

The conference will be followed by the Leadership Cocktail for conference participants and invited guests.
