AmCham in the media - April 2017

As we do every month, we would like to inform you about some of the most important AmCham media appearances.      

On April 6, 2017 AmCham with its partners from the Rule of Law Initiative presented their priorities on Public Procurement, Transparency and Corruption to the Prime Minister, Robert Fico at the personal meeting at the Government Office. The results from the press conference which followed after the official meeting were mentioned in several media including TA3, RTVS, TASR, SME, 24hod.sk, Hlavné správy, Teraz.sk and Parlamentné listy.sk.
 
In an open letter sent to the media 14 business associations and chambers of commerce including AmCham Slovakia called at the meeting with the Prime Minister, Robert Fico on April 6, 2017 for a more efficient and independent Public Procurement Office as well as inclusive and cross-sectoral approach in reforming both the Office and improving the current public procurement legislation. The priorities from the letter were mentioned in TREND and DenníkN article.
 
On April 10, 2017 article on Generation Z as a factor in shaping the future from AmCham’s Connection Magazine appeared under AmCham Blog in Slovak Spectator.
 
On April 12, 2017 the Skills for Success Course organized by AmCham’ s Business Service Center Forum appeared in several media including TASR and Hlavné správy. The aim of the course was to provide students with a set of effective soft skills that were at the same time the least developed competencies of fresh graduates entering the labor market.
 
On April 19, 2017 members of AmCham Slovakia elected their Board of Directors for a two-year term 2017/2018. Results from the elections were mentioned in several media including TASR, dobré noviny, 24hod.sk, oPenizoch and aktuálne správy.
 
In the latest TREND Focus on shared service centers the biggest members of the AmCham’ s Business Service Center Forum were mentioned.
