SMEs, let your voice be heard!

Tired of seeing how the needs of SMEs are neglected in the law-making process in Slovakia? The Better Regulation Centre (BRC), an analytical unit at the Slovak Business Agency, is here to ensure that the demands of SMEs are heard!

Following the mandate stemming from the Unified Methodology for Assessing Selected Impacts, we participate in the law-making process right from the very beginning and we are not only voice the concerns of SMEs in the consultation process but also propose alternative, SME-friendly solutions (e.g. exemptions, simplified regimes etc.).

However, in order to constantly improve in our undertakings, we need to be in close touch with the SME sector. And this is exactly where we need your help! We are seeking businesses as contact partners with whom we could consult the stance of SMEs anytime a new regulation is being adopted.

What would our cooperation look like?

  • You present your views on a new legislative proposals, including any alternative solutions you prefer
  • The BRC presents its views on the proposal, also including any alternative solutions
  • Together we agree on our common stance which the BRC subsequently presents during the consultation process

If you want to contribute to a more business-friendly regulation in Slovakia, do not hesitate and contact us on
