Business Community calls for transparency in procurement of low-value purchases

A coalition of 9 business organizations and chambers of commerce, led by AmCham, issued a joint statement calling for more transparency in procurement of low-value purchases.

Wider business community is concerned with the proposal of the Public Procurement Act amendment which aims to significantly increase limits in procurement of low-value purchases. In response to this planned change, employers ask for mandatory ex ante publishing of such purchases on-line. 

Statement was subsequently addressed to all relevant public institutions including Public Procurement Office, Deputy PM Office and several other ministries as well as to the Association of Cities and Towns (ZMOS).
