As we do every month, we would like to inform you about some of the most important AmCham media appearances.

On November 14, 2018, Amcham organized the East Innovation Conference In Košice, which discussed the potential for the region. PC Revue, Touch IT, TASR and Euractiv informed about the conference. 

On November 15, 2018, TREND Barometer featured Ronald Blaško, Executive Director of AmCham Slovakia.

On November 21, 2018, Hospodárske noviny published the opinion piece of Anton Marcinčin, Advisor to the Minister of Finance of the Slovak Republic complimenting AmCham Slovakia for its activities related to regional development.

On November 23, 2018, Todd Bradshaw, President of AmCham Slovakia participated in the Business Today show broadcasted in Tablet TV.

On November 26, 2018 the Slovak Spectator Investment Guide published several quotations of Peter Rusiňák, Policy Officer related to the employment and social affairs as well as Michal Krčméry, Director of Government Affairs and Spokesperson and Natalia Spodniak, PR & Media in relation to major legislative changes for businesses in Slovakia.

On November 27, 2018, AmCham Slovakia and its Rule of Law partners called on more transparency in the selection process of members of the Council of Public Procurement Office. Denník N (both in a separate article and its newsletter and SME reported about it.

On November 27, 2018, a coalition of major business associations including AmCham organized a press conference calling for the support of legislative changes simplifying employment of 3rd country nationals as one of the solutions for tackling the lack of qualified workers. TA3, RTVS, Markíza, SME, SITA, Dob noviny  and 24hod.sk reported about the issue.

On November 28, 2018, HN and HN online published an article written by Michal Krčméry, Director of Government Affairs and Spokesperson on the upcoming changes in public procurement.

On November 29, 2018, SITA, PR service.sk and Touch IT informed that AmCham Slovakia with its members handed over 8,790 EUR to Cesta von NGO during its annual Thanksgiving Gala Charity Dinner to ensure that poverty does not limit the potential of children from Roma communities.
