AmCham Board of Directors 2016/2017

The Board of Directors of AmCham Slovakia would like to inform AmCham members of the results of the elections carried out by the AmCham Board for positions on the Executive Committee.  

The Executive Committee – which consists of the President, First Vice President, Second Vice President, Third Vice President and Vice President of Finance – is responsible for supervising operational issues in accordance with duties as enumerated in the AmCham statutes. 

According to the AmCham statutes and internal regulations of the AmCham Board of Directors, nominations and elections for positions on the Executive Committee of the Board (carried out by members of the Board) take place over a four week period following the results of the elections to the Board which are announced at the annual General Assembly (this year April 21).  The nomination and election periods ran from April 25 to May 20. (Elections can also be held on an ad-hoc basis to fill any given position should the need arise.)

As the voting period for the elections to the Executive Committee ended at 17.00 on Friday, May 20, the results of the elections can now be declared as official.  The results are as follows:

President:

  • Todd Bradshaw, PwC (Re-elected)

First Vice President: 

  • Scott D. Buckiso, U. S. Steel Košice (Re-elected)

Third Vice President: 

  • Michaela Benedigová, SEESAME (Newly elected)

Vice President of Finance: 

  • Branislav Ďurajka, KPMG (Re-elected)

Second Vice President: 

  • Peter Škodný, Accenture (Remains as Second Vice President as he was elected for a two year term last year.)
