New partner at KPMG in Slovakia

As of October 1, 2017, Martin Kršjak has become a new audit partner after fifteen years with KPMG in Slovakia. He was previously acting as a senior audit manager. He will lead the company´s Financial Services Sector Group.
Martin Kršjak has become the eleventh member of the Partner Board at KPMG in Slovakia. As an audit partner, he will focus on strengthening the company´s position in the financial services sector. He has extensive experience with the provision of auditing and advisory services in the financial services segment, which he has gained during his 15-year career at KPMG in Slovakia, including international projects. 


“My main goal at my new position is to continually provide a client experience of the highest quality. I also want to support our clients as they address the challenges they face” M. Kršjak said. 


M. Kršjak joined KPMG in Slovakia in 2002 as an audit assistant right after he graduated from the Faculty of National Economy at the University of Economics in Bratislava in the field of insurance.  He holds a number of professional certifications – he earned his qualification and membership in ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) in 2006 and was awarded the FCCA (Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant) title in 2011. He became a Slovak statutory auditor in 2009. His mother tongue is Slovak, he also speaks English and German. Martin Kršjak is married and has two sons.
