Committee on Business-Academic Cooperation

Committee on Business-Academic Cooperation is contributing to effective implementation of the Reform of the Slovak Educational System; promoting proper implementation of Slovakia’s Competitiveness Strategy; providing comments to educational legislation, including the Act on Vocational Education; fostering regular dialogue with the Ministry of Education and Government Office; advocating more business training in school curricula and providing entrepreneurial role models; promoting partnerships between schools and business including Mentor Network Program and Train the Trainer Program.

  • Contribute to better conditions for R&D, Innovation and Technology Transfer;
  • Provide platform for sharing best practices among AmCham members;
  • Long-term support of enterpreneurship for enhancing Slovakia's competitiveness;
  • Contribute to better vocational education and thus contribute to preparation of a qualified labor force.
